BEP Church Visit
Seth, Grace and I had a fabulous time in Arnold Maryland this weekend! It was really neat to be there. We loved everyone we met there and enjoyed getting to know them better. We hope to get to know them even better as we takes steps towards serving there in the future. We are waiting on the "official call" but in our hearts Seth and I are confident that God is calling us to this church body, to live, serve and grow along side of the people there. It has been a really neat to see how God has drawn our hearts to BEP! This is the church (building). Over to the left is the "farmhouse" where the offices are. There were cows out back in the pasture there....sweet!! It gave Seth a little flavor of Alabama, in Maryland.
This is John Cavallaro the Youth Director! We had a BLAST at his house...he tried to scare us off by busting out the Sumo Suit. He is with Abby (his daughter) and Cassie (the Pecks daughter). Thanks for the yummy lunch guys!Keith and Gale (The Pastor and his wife) were so sweet and welcoming to us. Thanks Cassie for playing with Grace. We had fun getting to know them better this weekend. What a neat family!

Hunter Update
This is an update from Hunters Mom Heather. Please continue to pray for him! God is GOOD!
"The news we have been praying for has arrived. The docs in Denver have informed us that they have located 7 10 of 10 molecular matches with enough cell volume in cord blood. This is amazing news. The next step is to further narrow down the 2 best matches. Then they are working on submitting for the insurance authorization. At that point, they will begin Hunter's final tests pre-transplant. I guess the time frame depends on how fast the insurance provides approval (I find it so annoying that our timing is based on insurance...) This is an answer to prayer. Now we need to pray that the very best cord for Hunter's body out of that 7 is the one they procure. One big step closer!!!!! We go in tomorrow morning and we will be scheduling the biopsy and I amassuming we will go ahead with the broviac(central line) insertion since the typing looks so good. I will let you know." ~ heather~

Couples Retreat 2006

This was taken on our way to the mountains this weekend on our annual couples retreat with our church. I was driving and taking this shot at the same time...I just held my camera out the window...nice...yes I kept my eyes on the road ma...
They hired a baby sitter to watch the kids while we had fun...but we couldn't help but go out and play on the old school playground with grace.
Pastor Bryan Counts VS Pastor Steve Sage! We had "log pillow fights" up at Horn Creek this weekend! It was hilarious to watch.

Family Day!
Today, we all went to the play park at Focus on the Family. They have a whole indoor wing dedicated to children and fun activities for them to do. The walls are all painted with fun back drops. If you are ever looking for something to do on a rainy day in Colorado Springs, this is the place to go! The extra bonus is...it's FREE!
Grace taking a photo shoot break!
We ended the morning with root beer float at the soda shoppe! What a fun family day!

Please Pray for Hunter
Please pray for the Johnson Family and their son Hunter (on the right pictured here with his brother). He has Luekemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. Please pray they would find a donor right away and that Hunters white blood cell count would stabilize quickly. I met this dear family back in September at Erika and Darik's Wedding. Please pray for peace for the whole family as they walk through this valley together, pray for wisdom for the doctors, and for peace and comfort for Hunter. The following is an email from his Mother:"I have had a few questions from a lot of people. First, is whether you can be tested to see if you match Hunter. If you call the Memorial Hospital blood bank (for those in Colo Spgs), I believe they do registrations for the National Marrow Donor Registry. It is unlikely that you would match Hunter, however if you would like to register to be a donor in his honor, we think that would be wonderful. What a great gift!!! The other question is how to find the information on Hunter's transplant fund. Go to www.transplantfund.org and enter johnson in the box to locate his page. Thank your for the concern and desire to help Hunter. We are so blessed!!! In Love, Heather"

Be Mine?
Ever feel like you want to shout at the top of your lungs that you are married to the most wonderful man in the whole world? Well I do, and often ( i dont actually shout) I am amazed at how blessed I am by my dear husband. When I think of Seth I think of Micah 6:8 "To do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God" He is more than I could have ever prayed for! I am glad that you are my Valentine for now and always....as I told you on our wedding day..."For wherever you go I will go, and wherever you lodge I will lodge, Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die, I will die and there I will be buried. The Lord do so to me and more also, if anything but death parts you and me" Ruth 1:16
~I love you~

Garrison is 2 years old today!

We all went to Garrison's birthday today after church. Erika cooked a YUMMY meal for us. Garrison is 2 years old. When you ask him how old he is he will say 2. Here he was trying to make his little hands hold up 2 fingers...oh what concentration.
Garrison's Birthday cake...made by Erika...what a talented girl! The little statue in the back of the cake was actually Bryans when he turned 2 yers old! He had a fire truck birthday too!
Friends!
Who else has a REAL fireman hand deliver their birthday cake! He has an Uncle Todd who is a real fireman! The gang was all there!
Garrison got a new bike for his birthday and it is just like Grace's. Wait they are on the wrong bikes !
Birthday Cake, Yumm
